Split system unit cleaning is an essential part of maintaining the longevity of your air conditioning unit. Unfortunately, it’s often overlooked. While this is a job best left to professionals once every 6-12 months, it is recommended that you keep on top of the dust and debris build-up between cleanings by getting in there with a vacuum cleaner. Otherwise, your air conditioner might start to blow dust into your home, which is far from ideal!

During cleaning, our technician will spray aluminum coil cleaner on the outside of the A/C unit to remove dirt, grass, and other debris. The fan will be removed and cleaned, and if any blades are broken or bent, they will be replaced. The rest of the A/C unit is also thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. As part of the service, we will make sure the A/C Unit drains ok and remove any water trapped in the bottom case. Our standard service includes flushing out the drain pan with an anti-algae solution (blowing out excess moisture with a shop vacuum) to prevent future clogging; please let us know if your system requires more extensive work (such as removing a clogged line).
